Laura Bonini
Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher
Hi I’m Laura
I’m a yoga and mindfulness based stress reduction teacher in the Scottish Borders. I run classes, 1:1 private sessions, workshops and retreats.
I invite you to slow down, drop into awareness and become a little more present, whether this is through movement style classes or finding more stillness during mindfulness meditation classes.
Let’s explore finding more balance between ease and effort. These sessions offer students the space and guidance to practice the tools to help with stress, anxiety and overwhelm.

Vinyasa and Mobility Flow
Vinyasa and mobility flow classes explore pranayama (breath work) and mindful movement. Each class is designed to help students explore posture and alignment with a focus on anatomy. Working in to the muscular system, tissues and nervous system.
Postures help strengthen the body, improve flexibility, mobility , proprioception, and coordination.
Classes are accessible for all, variations are available and use of yoga props to assist with practice. During practice we can learn more about the body, how our body moves and any habitual patterns we tend to store physically and mentally.
Vinyasa and mobility flow classes create a little heat and energy however it’s important to step on the mat just as you are.
Let’s step on the mat more open, curious and playful.
Yin Yoga and Mindfulness
Yin is a slow medataive style practice. During yin yoga we hold the posture for around 3-4 minutes. Working into the body’s connective tissues, we get to hydrate the tissues, the fascia, ligaments, tendons, whilst working into the nervous system.
These sessions include the practice of mindfulness, exploring practices to become more aware, present and accepting. Working on the attitudes/principles of mindfulness each week with guidance.
These sessions are held in the studio, mats and props will be available. Lighting will be dimmed, cosy underfloor heating and soft relaxing music playing in the background.
Yin is less about the pose and more about the experience.
Let’s slow down, take rest and become more present.
